 My
friend Sadie (center) celebrated her first birthday
on Aug. 22, 2002. She's one of my afternoon
play pals along with Mars (left) and Jackson
(right). In fact, we're all about the same age. |

roll and wrestle in the grass in the dirt.
'Cause I have long hair, I think the other dogs like
to chew on me and use me like dental floss.

is Lucca, the fifth member of our afternoon posse.

When
I get home, Ol' What's-his-name says I smell like a
swamp. Like he didn't get dirty when he was a little
kid. Yeah, right!

 I
said we were all about the same age. My
companions had a little surprise in store for me for
